An American Embassy team checked the Cairo International Airport for security dangers in preparation for the arrival of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to Egypt on Saturday.
The embassy security personnel inspected the runway, the VIP hall, and the car parking area.
The US Department of State has said that Clinton is to arrive in Cairo 14 July. State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland said that the visit will last two days, during which Clinton will meet with her Egyptian counterpart Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr and other government officials and civil society activists.
