The US Embassy in Cairo will resume its full consular services on 10 April, according to an embassy statement released Monday.
Vodafone will contact applicants for non-emigration visas to reschedule their cancelled appointments. Alternatively, applicants can take the initiative to reschedule their appointments by contacting Vodafone, the statement said.
The embassy will also contact applicants for emigration visas whose appointments had been cancelled.
During the 25 January revolution, it suspended all consular services after the violence on 28 January — dubbed the "Friday of Anger" — because of unstable security conditions.
The decision to restore services comes after the return of US consular employees who left during the revolution.
