The price of the US dollar rose, on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the beginning of trading after witnessing a large increase lately followed by a weak decline, upon a decision from the Central Bank of Egypt raising interest rate by one percent.
The decision led to a decrease in the value of the Egyptian pound by about 14 percent.
