US dollar price in Egypt on Wednesday

The US dollar price on Wednesday recorded at the Central Bank of Egypt LE30.8414 for purchase, and LE30.9386 for sale, while the euro recorded LE33.7467 for purchase, and LE33.8623 for sale.

The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) decided in its last meeting to raise the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) overnight deposit rate, overnight lending rate, and the rate of the main operation by 100 bps to 19.25 percent, 20.25 percent, and 19.75 percent, respectively.
