The US dollar maintained stable rates against the Egyptian pound on Sunday morning compared to Monday prices (the last working day before Eid al-Fitr vacation), with an average exchange rate of LE16.70.
US dollar prices decreased by around LE1.12 since January 2019, according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
In Banque Misr and the National Bank of Egypt, the US dollar is being sold at LE16.83 and bought at LE16.73.
In the Commercial International Bank, the US dollar is sold at LE16.79 and bought at LE16.69.
At Crédit Agricole, Housing and Development Bank, Suez Canal Bank, and Bank of Alexandria, the US dollar is sold at LE16.80 and bought at LE16.70.
In the Arab African International Bank, the US dollar is sold LE16.83 and bought LE16.73, while in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank it is sold at LE16.85 and bought at LE16.80.
The US dollar exchange rate decreased by one piaster in al-Baraka Bank, sold at LE16.83 and bought at LE16.73.
