The US dollar exchange rate remained stable in banks on Wednesday, but still above LE18.
The website of the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) shows it sold US dollars at LE18.10 this morning, which are the same rates as Banque Misr and Banque du Caire, and also unchanged comparing with Tuesday's rates.
The Arab African International Bank (AAIB) is selling US dollars at LE18.12, and buying at LE18.02.
The Commercial International Bank (CIB) and Al-Baraka Bank are selling US dollars at LE18.20, and buying at LE18.10.
Bank of Alexandria and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) are selling US dollars at LE18.22, and buying at LE18.12.
The National Bank of Greece (NBG) is selling US dollars at LE18.10, and buying at LE18.
Egypt floated the national currency on November 3. It devalued the Egyptian pound by about a third from the former peg of LE8.8 against the dollar and allowed it to drift lower.
