The US dollar maintained different exchange rates in all banks on Wednesday, but remained above LE17.60 in dealings.
The lowest price rates were in the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, where the US dollar is being sold at LE17.67 and being bought at LE17.57 on Wednesday morning.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) is selling the US dollar at the highest rate on Wednesday morning at LE17.75, and buying at LE17.65.
Banque du Caire is selling it at LE17.72 and buying it at LE17.62. The Arab African International Bank (AAIB) is selling the dollar at LE17.7 and buying at LE17.6.
The Commercial International Bank (CIB), is selling the dollar at LE17.73 and buying at LE17.63.
Bank of Alexandria is selling the dollar at LE17.7 and buying at LE17.6.
The National Bank of Greece (NBG) is selling the dollar at LE17.72 and buying at LE17.62.
Al-Baraka Bank is selling the dollar at LE17.74 and buying at LE17.64.
Egypt floated the national currency on November 3, 2016. It devalued the Egyptian pound by about a third from the former peg of LE8.8 against the dollar and allowed it to drift lower.
