The US dollar exchange rates declined against the Egyptian pound on Sunday morning comparing to Saturday’s exchange rates by average of 15 piasters.
At the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, the US dollar sold at LE17.75 and was bought at LE17.65, losing 14 piasters.
In the Suez Canal Bank the dollar was sold for LE17.75 and bought for LE17.65, down by 19 piasters comparing to Saturday’s prices.
At the Commercial International Bank, it was sold at LE17.79 and bought at LE 17.69, losing 15 piasters.
In the Arab African International Bank it sold at LE 17.75 and bought at LE 17.65, losing 20 piasters, the same for in Credit Agricole.
The rate at the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank was LE 17.95 for selling and LE 17.85 for buying, down only one piaster from Saturday prices.
The US dollar exchange rate went unchanged in ALEXBANK, as the dollar rate was stable at LE 17.96 for selling and LE 17.89 for buying.
Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt Tarek Amer has said in an interview with Bloomberg on Tuesday that the exchange rate of the Egyptian pound may see more movement in the coming period.
