The US dollar exchange rate continued to rise against the Egyptian pound on Tuesday in 10 banks, officially exceeding the LE49 mark for the first time in two and a half months.
According to the latest updates of the official US dollar exchange rate announced on Egyptian bank websites, the current prices are as follows:
- National Bank of Egypt: LE 49.01 for purchase, and LE 49.11 for sale, an increase of eight piasters for purchase and sale.
- Banque Misr: LE 49.01 for purchase, and LE 49.11 for sale, an increase of eight piasters for purchase and sale.
- Banque du Caire: LE 49.02 for purchase, and LE 49.03 for sale, an increase of nine piasters for purchase and sale.
- Commercial International Bank: LE 49.03 for purchase, and LE 49.13 for sale, an increase of seven piasters for purchase and sale.
- Al Baraka Bank: LE 49.01 for purchase, and LE 49.11 for sale, an increase of eight piasters for purchase and sale.
- Suez Canal Bank: LE 49.05 for purchase, and LE 49.15 for sale, an increase of nine piasters for purchase and sale.
- Credit Agricole Bank: LE 49.06 for purchase, and LE 49.16 for sale, an increase of 10 piasters for purchase and sale.
- Alexandria Bank: LE 49.03 for purchase, LE 49.05 for sale, an increase of eight piasters for purchase and sale.
- Housing and Development Bank: LE 48.93 for purchase, LE 49.03 for sale, an increase of five piasters for purchase and sale.
- Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank: LE 49.06 for purchase, LE 49.15 for sale, an increase of nine piasters for purchase and sale.
