Meanwhile, the US Dollar Index, which measures the currency against six other major currencies, declined by 0.06 percent, while achieving weekly gains of 0.2 percent and annual gains of 6.6 percent in 2024.
The US dollar exchange rate remained stable in the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) at LE50.82 for buying and LE50.92 for selling.
Similarly, at the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar was traded at LE50.82 for buying and LE50.92 for selling.
The dollar rate at the Suez Canal Bank was recorded at LE50.85 for buying and LE50.95 for selling.
At Faisal Islamic Bank, the rates stood at LE50.82 for buying and LE50.92.
Additionally, the dollar rate at Bank Misr was recorded at LE50.82 for buying and LE50.92 for selling.
The dollar currently was valued at LE50.82 for buying and LE50.92 for selling at the United Bank.
In the Bank of Alexandria, the dollar exchange rate also remained stable at LE50.82 for buying and LE50.92 for selling.
