The US dollar exchange rate against the Egyptian pound remained stable on Friday, across 17 local banks, holding at the levels recorded on Thursday morning.
This comes after the Egyptian pound depreciated by more than 3% since the beginning of November 2024. During this period, the dollar rose from 49.03 Egyptian pounds to 51.22 Egyptian pounds.
The dollar exchange rates today in some Egyptian banks are as follows:
- National Bank of Egypt: The selling price was recorded at 50.72 Egyptian pounds, and the buying price at 50.82 Egyptian pounds.
- Commercial International Bank (CIB): The selling price was 50.72 Egyptian pounds, and the buying price was 50.82 Egyptian pounds.
- Egyptian Gulf Bank: The selling price remained stable at 50.72 Egyptian pounds, and the buying price at 50.82 Egyptian pounds.
- Bank of Alexandria: The selling price reached 50.72 Egyptian pounds, and the buying price was 50.82 Egyptian pounds.
- Central Bank of Egypt: The selling price was recorded at 50.7033 Egyptian pounds, and the buying price at 50.8407 Egyptian pounds.
- Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank: The selling price was 50.80 Egyptian pounds, and the buying price was 50.90 Egyptian pounds.
- Suez Canal Bank: The selling price remained stable at 50.72 Egyptian pounds, and the buying price at 50.82 Egyptian pounds.
- Banque Misr (Bank of Egypt): The selling price was recorded at 50.72 Egyptian pounds, and the buying price at 50.82 Egyptian pounds.
