Up to 28 Israeli soldiers have committed suicide since the start of war: Israeli Army Radio

Israeli media reports revealed a shocking statistic on Thursday regarding suicide rates within the Israeli military.

The Israeli Army Radio reported that 28 Israeli soldiers have committed suicide since the start of the war on October 7, 2023.

The radio added that among the 28 soldiers who committed suicide, 16 were reservists – and that this figure is the highest in 13 years.

The Statista Research Department reported on December 5, 2024 that around 1,200 Israelis have died, and 5,431 were injured since the launch of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7, 2023,

The Israeli armed forces against Hamas in Gaza killed 44,502 Palestinians, and injured 105,454.

A recent report issued in December by The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), has stated that, “Since the beginning of the war, 14,500 children have been reported killed in Gaza.”
