Egyptian authorities in North Sinai on Friday continued to bring fuel trucks, relief and humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, as per the political leadership’s orders to support Palestinians in need.
An official source in North Sinai said that 153 trucks entered into the Gaza Strip, including 34 trucks from the Rafah land crossing and 119 other trucks from the Karem Abu-Salem crossing, south of the city of Rafah.
According to the source, the trucks which passed through the Rafah land crossing gate included four gas trucks for cooking for homes, 30 various aid trucks, 12 food trucks, two flour trucks, three blanket trucks, two water trucks, two medicine trucks, three medical supplies trucks, a mattress truck, three cleaning supplies trucks, a diaper and milk truck, a coal truck, and trucks for clothes and tents.
The source indicated that 119 trucks entered into Gaza through the Karem Abu-Salem crossing gate, including 103 aid trucks and 16 private sector trucks.
The aid trucks included 21 flour trucks, 55 food trucks, and seven cleaning materials trucks.
