UK ambassador in Cairo John Casson welcomed on Tuesday an agreement reached between Egypt and Control Risks, a global risk consultancy on reviewing security measures at Egyptian airports.
He said in a press release the step is positive and shows once again that Egypt is moving to abate international security fears.
This step will push ahead the joint plan between Egypt and the United Kingdom to allow the return of the British tourists to Sharm el-Sheikh soon.
The UK wants to be the first country to resume flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, according to the ambassador.
