Uber has launched its latest travel feature, Smart Itineraries, in Egypt for the first time.
After linking their Uber profiles with their Google account to display upcoming travel plans, the feature will display upcoming travel plans, allowing users to reserve an Uber to and from specific locations for an even more seamless travel experience.
- Open the Uber app, and select “Travel” followed by “Get Started” then “Sign in” with your Google account
- Allow Uber-AwardWallet permission to access your bookings
- Press the permissions box
- All upcoming trips will now appear
The ‘Smart Itineraries’ is part of the Uber Travel Suite of Offerings globally, with a range of features expected to launch in the region soon.
Uber’s Head of Communications for the MENA region, Norhen Ali, explained that “Uber Travel forms an integral part of Uber’s vision to make movement and local and international travel more seamless. ”
“We’re excited to introduce Smart Itineraries to the MENA region, as an enhanced offering to help ease the stress of travel, and we will continue to expand our services to accommodate increasing travel needs through the power of our technology.”
Uber will return a 10 percent cut back in Uber Cash every time riders book a Reserve ride with Uber Travel, a move which comes as part of Uber’s tireless efforts for more affordable rides, while driving up more demand for drivers to support their earnings
