The Sexual Harassment Map initiative announced a joint campaign with Uber Egypt to confront the phenomenon of sexual harassment.
The initiative's Facebook page published a statement Thursday saying the campaign includes educating Uber drivers on the different types of sexual harassment and means to show rejection to the phenomenon.
Marketing development official for Uber Nour Ahmadein said the most prominent reason behind Uber's success in Egypt and the whole world is customers' trust that they will be secure while using the service.
The statement called on other transport companies operating in Egypt to join the campaign.
