Unknown attackers kidnapped two tourists Friday, one Israeli and one Norwegian, a security source said.
The two tourists were on their way from Taba to Dahab, both in South Sinai, said the source, speaking on condition of anonymity.
The kidnappers headed with the hostages to North Sinai, and the motivation behind the incident is unknown, the source added.
Security forces are searching the area to track the perpetrators, the source said.
