Two soldiers injured in North Sinai IED blast

Two soldiers were injured on Tuesday morning in an IED blast in southwest Sheikh Zuweid City, North Sinai.
 
The blast occured after the two soldiers in an armored vehicle passed near the IED.
 
According to security sources, unidentified assailants planted an IED in Karam al-Qawadis area, in southwest Sheikh Zuweid City. The bomb exploded as an armored vehicle passed near it while security forces were carrying out a crackdown in the area.
 
The two soldiers were injured with shrapnel and were transferred to Arish Military Hospital, the sources added.
 
The prosecutors were notified for investigation.
