Two police officers were injured in a car accident in Central Sinai on Wednesday.
They were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
North Sinai security services were notified about the crash between two cars in the Sadr al-Heetan area due to poor weather conditions.
The injured are Major General Anas Shukry al-Naggar, 53, of South Sinai security services, and Recruit Hossan Shaaban Ahmed, 22.
