Armed clashes took place between an armed criminal, the police and special operations forces in Ismailia Governorate, resulting in the death of the suspect and two officers.
The exchange of fire occurred as soon as the forces arrived to arrest the suspect, who surprised them with a firearm and prompting police to fire back, according to security sources.
