Two people were killed and two others injured on Saturday in a building collapse in Shobra, Cairo, the Egyptian Health Ministry said in a statement.
The statement added that the 2-story building was rickety, and the back part had collapsed.
Health Ministry spokesperson Khaled Megahid said that 3 ambulances rushed to the scene and transferred the injured to Shobra General Hospital and the dead to Zainhom Morgue.
Megahid added that one of the injured suffers from a broken leg, and the other might have a concussion. He added that both of them are receiving all necessary medical care.
