Two brothers, both children, have been shot and injured by an unknown gunman in Sheikh Zuweid, according to a security source.
“Security forces in North Sinai received a report that the two children, Ali Mahdy Soleiman, 11, and his brother, Hassan Mahdy Soleiman, had been shot," said the source.
"The older one in the back and the younger one in the neck. The identity of the shooter is still unknown.”
The children have been taken to Al-Arish General Hospital, and investigations are underway.
