Helwan prosecutors on Monday ordered the detention of two Brotherhood leaders for 15 days on charges of assaulting the security at the Maasara metro station.
They were possessing leaflets inciting attacks on police and army forces and calling for civil disobedience.
The defendants had been holding a protest inside the metro station when they allegedly assaulted the security offices that tried to prevent them from disrupting the movement of the trains.
They denied the charges, claiming the officers assaulted them while they were protesting peacefully to demand the reinstatement of legitimacy.
