Two blasts took place simultaneously on Saturday in downtown Minya. No casualties were reported.
One blast occurred at Sidnawy Square outside the Orthodox Prince Tadros Church, leaving a car parked outside smashed. The other blast took place near from Minya Police Station.
Security services cordoned the areas in search for other explosives.
