The golden mask of Pharaoh King Tutankhamun was put back on display for visitors at the Egyptian Museum on Wednesday, following renovations.
The restoration process for the mask, one of Egypt’s priceless ancient treasures, took eight weeks.
An uproar broke out in January when it was disclosed that during the restoration, the chin from the mask broke off. It was then reported that the wrong type of glue was used to reattach the chin.
