A Turkish passenger plane made an emergency landing Thursday at Cairo International Airport following the on board death of a Swiss passenger during a flight from Istanbul to Nairobi.
The plane stopped for one hour to leave the body of passenger Erie Freya, 80, accompanied by his wife, at Cairo International Airport before resuming the flight.
The body was transferred to Heliopolis Hospital after taking the necessary legal measures.
