Prime Minister Essam Sharaf met today in Cairo with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Dawoud Oglu to discuss the situation in Libya and the means to bolster relations between Egypt and Turkey.
Oglu is scheduled to meet with his Egyptian counterpart Nabil al-Arabi as well as Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa.
Oglu's talks in Cairo will tackle developments in Libya and the roadmap proposed by Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as the situation in the Palestinian territories.
Turkey's prime minister proposed a roadmap for peace in Libya that starts with a ceasefire and the establishment of humanitarian aid corridors, and proceeds to introducing comprehensive democratic changes.
However, Libyan revolutionaries have refused to hold talks with Qadhafi and insist on his ouster.
