A Turkish aircraft carrying 94 passengers made an emergency landing at Cairo International Airport on Sunday due to a technical malfunction, Egyptian navigational sources said.
The Turkish airlines plane faced a malfunction in the fuel pump during its flight from Al-Aqaba, in Jordan, to Istanbul, the sources added.
According to the sources, the Airbus 316 aircraft was allowed to land in Cairo, where a technical team was called in to fix the malfunction.
