Chairman of the Egyptian Metrological Authority (EMA) Ahmed Abdel Aal stated on Monday that turbulent weather will dominate the country on Tuesday till Thursday.
Abdel Aal added that low and medium level cloud cover, accompanied by rainfall, is predicted for the northern coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo and north of Upper Egypt.
Thunder and heavy rain are expected for some areas in Sinai.
“Mild weather will dominate the northern coasts while moderate weather is expected for Cairo, Lower Egypt and north of Upper Egypt. Weather will be slightly hot in south of Upper Egypt in the daylight while cold weather will dominate the country overnight,” Abdel Aal pointed out.
“Winds will be moderate in strength and active on the Red Sea and Gulf of Suez, disturbing the maritime navigation,” Abdel Aal added.
Maximum temperatures expected for the following areas are as follow: 23C in northwesterly coasts, 22C in northeasterly costs, 27C in Lower Egypt and Cairo, 28C in north of Upper Egypt, 31C in south of Upper Egypt, 30C in South Sinai.
