Tunisia's ruling Islamists have agreed to hand key ministries to independents, a leader said on Wednesday, potentially unblocking a logjam as the country battles its deepest political crisis since the revolution.
"We confirm the 'neutralization' of the four sovereign ministries," Rached Ghannouchi, leader of the ruling Ennahda party, said on Radio Kalima, referring to the interior, justice, foreign and defense portfolios.
