Travel website TripAdvisor published its list of top attractions as part of its Travellers' Choice 2015 awards today, drawing from 533 major attractions in Asia, Canada, Europe, India, South America, the South Pacific and the United States.
Orlando, Florida's Universal Islands of Adventure was this year's big winner, with the US city's Discovery Cove and Magic Kingdom taking the second and third prizes.
Germany's Europa-Park was the top European attraction, in seventh position, while Brazil's Beto Carrero World represented the best South American destination at ninth position.
The annual awards are based on millions of traveller comments and opinions from the TripAdvisor website, which uses an algorithm to decipher the best amusement and water parks, zoos and aquariums.
