Trade Minister visits Paris to develop stronger commercial ties

Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Rachid Mohamed Rachid travels to Paris on Monday to negotiate more Egyptian exports to France.

Rachid said he will hold talks in the French capital seeking more access for Egyptian exports to the French market, one of Europe’s biggest economies. The minister noted that Egyptian exports to France jumped by 60 percent between January and October of this year, and are estimated to be worth LE3.201 billion.

Rachid is scheduled to chair a meeting of the Egyptian French Presidential Council, which will be attended by more than 100 Egyptian firms operating in different fields, along with other French companies.
