Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevine Gamea announced Friday that the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and the UAE amounted to about US$1.596 billion during the first half of 2021.
Gamea’s statements came during an expanded meeting with Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, on the sidelines of the 108th session of the Economic and Social Council of the Arab League at the ministerial level.
She emphasized that Egypt and the UAE are linked by strategic bilateral relations based on a solid foundation of distinguished relations between Cairo and Abu Dhabi.
The minister touched upon the importance of coordinating efforts in facing all emergency crises, especially the coronavirus pandemic.
