Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa has said that more hotel rooms are needed in Egypt to accommodate 30 million tourists by 2028.
This came during the minister’s meeting with the Head of the Central Administration for Hotels, Shops and Tourism Activities at the Ministry Muhammad Amer.
The meeting comes within the framework of periodic follow-up of efforts being made to improve the supply side of the Egyptian tourist destination in light of the implementation of the national strategy for tourism development.
