The Tourism and Antiquities Ministry represented by the Egyptian Tourist Authority, participated in the 2024 Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (MITT).
The Egyptian pavilion was opened by Egypt’s Ambassador in Moscow Nazih al-Nagari, in the presence of CEO of the Egyptian Tourist Authority Amr al-Qadi, Ahmed el Yamani, who is in charge for the Russian file in the Central Administration of Tourist Offices at the Authority and Counselor at the Egyptian Embassy in Moscow Ahmed Medhat.
During his participation, Qadi held a series of meetings with officials and representatives of “Biblio Globus”, “Coral Travel”, “Anex” and “Intourist” tour operators.
They discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation to promote various tourist destinations in Egypt.
The two sides also reviewed the Journey of the Holy Family in Egypt and efforts made by the Egyptian State to revive the Holy Family path, as well as the “Great Transfiguration” project in Saint Catherine city.
Held annually, MITT is Russia’s largest and longest running travel exhibition. With over 1,600 participating companies and 182+ destinations, it is the key meeting place for the industry and an opportunity to catch up with colleagues and clients.
In addition, it enables participants to increase awareness of their destination, gain a real feel for the Russian travel market and gauge demand for their services.
