The release date for Tom Ford’s upcoming film "Nocturnal Animals" has been announced, reports Deadline.
The film will be released in limited US theatres on November 18. It will open in further theatres on November 23, the day before Thanksgiving, before going wide on December 9.
Fashion designer Ford has based the film on Austin Wright’s novel Tony and Susan, which tells the story of an art gallery owner who is haunted by her ex-husband’s novel, a violent thriller that she believes has been written as a veiled threat to herself.
The movie stars Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Isla Fisher, Armie Hammer, Ellie Bamber and Laura Linney.
Nocturnal Animals will be Ford’s follow-up to his directorial debut A Single Man, released back in 2009.
