
A three-story house collapsed on Thursday, in the village of Al-Hawatka, Al-Jaab area, in the Manfalut district of Assiut Governorate.
Major General Wael Nassar, Assiut Security Director, received a notification from Major General Mohamed Ezzat, Director of Criminal Investigations, stating that a report was received from residents about the collapse of a three-story house in Al-Hawatka, Manfalut.
Civil Protection Forces and ambulances immediately moved to the location of the report. It was found that a three-story house, built of red brick, had collapsed, with three children inside.
Residents and Civil Protection Forces were able to rescue one child, and the search continues for two other children under the rubble.
A report was filed regarding the incident, and the search for children under the rubble is ongoing.
