The Civil Protection Forces in Giza Security Directorate put out three cars on fire on the ring road following a collision in the Mariouteya area of Giza, where three people were killed and four others injured.
The victims were transferred to al-Haram Hospital.
Five fire engines moved to the scene of the accident immediately after being notified and put out the fire.
The incident caused traffic congestion prompting traffic police to direct cars to alternative routes.
A claim was filed with the incident and prosecutors were notified for investigation.
