A third fire broke out at the Giza Zoo at 7 pm on Wednesday inside a cave.
Five fire engines are fighting the fire to prevent it it from extending to dozens of palm trees inside the cave.
The second fire had broken out at 6:30 pm next to the monkeys grotto.
The Giza governor formed a committee of experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and the College of Agriculture of Cairo University to determine the cause of the fire, saying it is premature to assume arson.
