Warraq policemen in Giza arrested on Thursday three assailants in a car after allegedly throwing a bomb at the police station.
Authorities said the assailants were members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The bomb was defused by explosives experts.
Security forces followed the suspects’ car and after making the arrest, they were taken to the police station and will be referred to prosecution.
The suspects were found to be in possession of machine guns and three bombs, said Amr Saudi, chief detective of Warraq police station.
