Egypt’s temperatures will increase from April 27 to Thursday, April 30, the director of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority’s Forecast and Analysis Center Mahmoud Shaheen announced.
He explained that during the first week of Ramadan the thus far moderate temperatures will grow hot, while temperatures at night will become very cold reaching 14 and 15 degrees within the late hours of the night and the early hours of the morning.
Shaheen advised people to dress carefully and monitor weather reports until May 1.
On Monday temperatures will be moderately hot at Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, the Red Sea Mountains and northern Upper Egypt according to forecasts.
Maximum temperatures for Monday are 28C in the northwestern and northeastern coasts and central Sinai, 32C in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains, and north Upper Egypt, and 35C in southern Upper Egypt.
Tuesday’s temperatures will be hot on Greater Cairo, South Sinai, and Lower Egypt, with more moderate temperatures for the northwestern coasts, northeastern coasts and central Sinai and very hot weather north and south of Upper Egypt.
Maximum temperatures for Tuesday are 25C in central Sinai and the northeastern coasts, 27C in the northwestern coasts, 28C north of Upper Egypt, 33C in Cairo, South Sinai, the Red Sea mountain range and Lower Egypt and 41C south of Upper Egypt.
