The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) announced that the cold snap across the country will ease starting Monday, when temperatures will begin to gradually rise.
The EMA added on its official Facebook page that the weather on Sunday will be cold during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, and northern Upper Egypt, growing warm in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, and very cold at night.
Frost will form on crops in the early morning across central Sinai, northern Upper Egypt, and New Valley Governorate.
There will be a slight and gradual increase in temperatures across the country starting on Monday ranging between two to four degrees Celsius.
Light to moderate rainfall is expected on areas of the Northern Coasts and northern Lower Egypt at intermittent intervals.
