The Egyptian Meteorological Authority on Sunday announced that temperatures across the country will gradually fall from Monday to Saturday across the northern areas, with hot weather in Greater Cairo and the Delta governorates and very hot weather in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
The weather will grow moderate by nightfall.
Monday sees maximum temperatures of 35C, dropping to 33C on Tuesday.
Maximum temperatures for the first day of Eid al-Fitr, Wednesday:
- Northeastern coasts, central Sinai: 26C
- Northwestern coasts: 27C
- Cairo, Delta governorates: 32C
- Northern Upper Egypt: 35C
- Southern Upper Egypt: 39C
Maximum temperatures for the second day of Eid al-Fitr, Thursday:
- Northeastern coasts, central Sinai: 27C
- Northwestern coasts: 28C
- Cairo, Delta governorates: 33C
- Northern Upper Egypt: 36C
- Southern Upper Egypt: 41C
Maximum temperatures for the third of Eid al-Fitr, Friday:
- Northeastern coasts, central Sinai, northwestern coasts: 28C
- Cairo, Delta governorates: 33C
- Northern Upper Egypt: 36C
- Southern Upper Egypt: 40C
