Tuesday's decline in temperatures follows a front of hot and stormy weather that caused warnings to be issued in all governates. Local traffic departments urged drivers to be cautious on highways and desert roads, while the Health Affairs Department called for health and maintenance units to be on high alert during the storms. Aswan witnessed particularly severe dust storms on Monday, and authorities urged for traffic on the waterways to be suspended due to the low visibility.
