The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects Tuesday’s weather to be moderate in the early morning, hot during the day for most of the country, very hot in southern Upper Egypt, and moderate at across most parts at night.
A slight decrease in temperatures will continue, especially in the late hours of the night, the EMA added.
The latest satellite images and weather maps showed weak chances of light rainfall on areas of the northwestern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, extending lightly to areas of the northeastern coasts.
There will be occasional wind activity in most areas at intermittent intervals, it added.
The authority also warned of rough waves disrupting maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea, with wind speeds reaching 50 to 70 km/h and wave heights ranging from 2.5 to four meters.
Expected temperatures for Tuesday:
- Northeastern Coasts: 27C
- Northern Upper Egypt: 31C
- Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt: 30C
- South Sinai and Red Sea mountain areas: 33C
- Southern Upper Egypt: 35C
