Telecom Egypt reported revenues of LE28.1 billion, with a rise of 38 percent in the first quarter of the current year compared with the reports of the previous year.
In a statement on Monday, the company attributed the rise in revenues to total growth in businesses with a rate of 75 percent in the reported quarter compared with the previous year.
The statement noted that net profits hit LE12 billion before taxes and operation costs, recording a growth of 48 percent in the aforementioned period compared with the previous year report.
Net profits also recorded 6.7 billion, recording a growth of 67 percent in this quarter compared with its similar in the previous year, added the statement.
