Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, met on Wednesday with United States with Senator John Kerry, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, to discuss ways of boosting cooperation and bilateral relations between Egypt and the United States.
They also discussed the latest developments and rapid changes on the local and regional levels, as well as the democratization process in Egypt and ways to advance the economy and foreign investments.
The meeting was attended by members of the SCAF, the US ambassador in Cairo and the delegation accompanying Kerry.
