Sweeping increase in US dollar value against Egyptian pound on Wednesday

The US dollar saw a sweeping increase in its exchange rate against the Egyptian pound – as well as various other currencies – on Wednesday, after the value of the US dollar fluctuated over the past week.

In its most recent value, as listed by the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), the US dollar’s value increase by five piaster, recording LE 17.74 for purchase and LE 17.84 for sale.

For the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the US dollar’s value increased by two piaster, recording LE 17.66 for purchase and LE 17.76 for sale.

In the al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK), the US dollar’s value climbed by four piaster, recording LE 17.70 for purchase and LE 17.80 for sale.

In the Bank of Alexandria and the National Bank of Greece (NBG), the US dollar recorded LE 17.69 for purchase and LE 17.79 for sale.

Meanwhile, in the al-Qaheira Bank, the value of the US dollar rose to LE 17.68 for purchase and LE 17.78 for sale, an increase of four piaster compared to Tuesday’s value.

In the Arab African International Bank (AAIB), the US dollar increased by two piaster, recording LE 17.67 for purchase and LE 17.77 for sale.

In the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the US dollar went up three piaster, recording LE 17.69 for purchase and LE 17.79 for sale.

Finally, in the al-Baraka Bank, the US dollar settled at LE 17.69 for purchase and LE 17.79 for sale.
