Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Meselhi has decided to commence the Summer Sale on August 6, which allows citizens to buy the necessary products and commodities at low prices.
The Minister said that traders must take approval from Directorates of Supply and Internal Trade to participate at the sale.
He added that the ministry imposes strict monitoring on the quality of the products offered for sale and penalties on the fake offers.
Meselhi also said that the sale will continue until the holiday of Eid al-Adha in August 21-25, adding that traders must release the product prices before and after the sale.
