The Suez Canal Authority’s Transit Department announced on Wednesday a reduction of up to 50 percent on transit fees for yachts less than 300 tons for small boats for a period of three months.
The Transit Department indicated in a circular that the decision will be implemented from the beginning of July until October 1.
It stated that this comes out of the Suez Canal Authority’s desire to support the Egypt International Boat Show held in Egypt in its sixth session on the North Coast at Marassi al-Alamein from July 11-14.
